Aim - To recognise Nambour as an entertainment hub
& cultural destination
Objectives -
Building Nambour as an authentic and dynamic place by connecting creative and cultural resources from within the region.
Celebrate the cross-cultural diversity with the gritty reality of the towns cane cutting/rural history
Utilise the entertainment industry experience of our members in an advisory capacity for councils & other organizations mutual benefit
Re-institute & educate the general public’s perception to the value of entertainment and cultural activities
Advocate the implementation of ‘special use’ and recreational/entertainment zoning options
Nambours’ identified as MAP. We need to action “Entertainment Precinct” in line with State Planning Strategies anchoring creative communities within sustainable and affordable spaces
Provide advocacy and opportunities for open discussion with regulatory bodies, liquor licensing and government agencies.
